| Fur chew chinchillas are NOT to be put with a chinchilla that does not fur chew. They can teach the other chinchilllas to fur chew. We only pair fur chewed with fur chewed and of the same sex, once again I stress they sould not be breed. FUR CHEWING: The best way I can discribe it is the chinchilla shewes off the tips of its fur, it looks like a little kid gave them a hair cut, but the chinchilla did it to itself. Causes of fur chewing: Genetic, Stress, Enviroment, Bordom, Bad Habbit, to name a few. Can it Stop: Some times yes, but not in every case. Recominations: Toys, Chewes, Play time, wood houses to remodle. |
